Newly renovated traditional place, it has best possible location near the center of the old town and the bar street, an out of the way Hangzhou train station instead of the main one, and the main gardens in Suzhou and tourist market street. The staff is delightfully helpful, caring.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is located in a beautiful and quiet garden away from the busy end of town. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with everything neatly kept and even the towels provided in plastic bags. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a comfortable bed, warm shower, and great water flow. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Additionally, the location was excellent, with easy access to the city center, nearby parks, and the great attractions that are mostly located in the north of this city.
Nothing all excellent.

We loved the beautiful gardens and traditional Chinese-style design of this 5-star hotel. It was in a great location near the canal and opposite the Master of the Nets garden. The rooms were spotless and the staff provided excellent service. We enjoyed the live traditional music performances in the lounge each night. The breakfasts were delicious and there were several main tourist attractions within walking distance of the hotel.
Nothing could have been better.

What a great Christmas trip I had! The staff warmly welcomed us with a small but thoughtful gift. The breakfast was amazing featuring plenty of options with tasty and fresh food. Besides that, our rooms were comfortable and stylish, and we enjoyed the complimentary snacks.
Sadly, communication with the front desk can be tricky, as the staff's ability to speak English is limited. Although we used our debit card to pay the deposit, we were not reimbursed the difference between the deposit and the room rate, which was a bit frustrating.

My favorite hotel of the entire trip
I recently stayed at a hotel in China and it quickly became my favorite of the entire trip. The lobby had a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooms were clean, plush, and provided the best sleep I had throughout the trip. The bathrooms were beautifully done in a zen tradition style, although I was a bit confused about the see-through glass. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of tasty food options. I could have easily stayed here for a few more days. The hotel's courtyard was well-designed and the location was convenient for shopping. My only slight disappointment was the swimming pool situation. It required a go-kart ride to the spa building, where we had to purchase swim caps before swimming. We decided to skip the swimming and enjoyed the hotel instead. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Cleanliness: The hotel was immaculate, with towels neatly kept in plastic bags and everything well-maintained. Hotel facilities: The hotel had amazing amenities, including a beautiful pool, live instrumental music in the lobby every evening, and complementary local tea and snacks on arrival. Location: The hotel was in a great area, very near to shopping places in a multilevel shopping mall. It was also conveniently located close to the nearest subway stop.
Nothing not to love.
